My name is Julian (He/Him). Originally from a suburb not many have heard of called Pembroke Pines, Florida, but I usually just say Miami cause it's right next to it and sounds way cooler. I grew up with two psychologist parents, which yes, is just as scary as it sounds, but it gave me a profound appreciation and curiosity for exploring what makes people tick! For the longest time, I grappled with choosing between theatre and psychology, like my parents, until I was told by my high school drama teacher, "if you could be just as happy doing anything other than theater, then you should choose that instead". I chose theatre in an instant.
Since then, I've devoted myself to exploring the human condition through performing arts and I've been delighted to find all the parallels between the two professions! I'm a recent graduate from LIU Post with a BFA in Musical Theatre, and I'm trained in Stanislavski, Suzuki, Meisner, and Chekhov, as well as a proud former student of the Maria Porter Method! I am a joyful and energetic actor who brings just the right amount of professionalism and childlike wonder. At LIU we learned to play like a child with the focus of an adult, and I love this mantra with all my heart! I believe that we are always works in progress, and that success begins by acknowledging that there's always more to learn. I've been a performing artist for over 12 years and I'm continually grateful to get to explore "humaning" on stage, every day.
